The joint

Tongue and groove, a V-groove on the face

623 mm wide, 12 mm thick, 600 mm coverage. One edge ends in a tongue, the other in a groove.

The chipboard core is visible only in section. On the face, a V-groove every 600 mm is all you see.

Installation

On steel profiles or on timber battens

The framing is the same as for plasterboard. The installation guide specifies 600 mm centres and screws every 300 mm.

Steel profiles

The same profiles used for plasterboard. A drylining crew has nothing new to learn.

Timber battens

Battens screwed to the wall, or an existing timber frame. The option for loft spaces and timber-frame buildings.

A good match

Where to start

Which panel suits an ordinary room?+

The most versatile starting point is the classic SP-ID-W line. If weight, acoustics, real wood or a fire classification matters, pick the specialist line that covers it.

Can the systems be combined?+

Interior Design panels share the same tongue-and-groove logic. Slats can sit alongside flat panels, but it is worth confirming the junction detail for your particular project.

Does the screen show the finish faithfully?+

Not entirely. Screen calibration and lighting both change how a material reads, so we recommend a physical sample before you order.
